? You only click the play button to test the game in the editor. On a Standalone build, you just launch the executable.

I'm as confused as you ^^. $$anonymous$$aybe he didn't know how to build the game?

@bhain:
To build your game / application you have to click on File->Build Settings. There you should:

  • make sure your scene(s) are added to the scenes list that you'll see there.

  • select your desired target platform at the bottom

  • $$anonymous$$aybe click "Player Settings" and check the inspector if you want to modify any settings

  • click "build" or "build and run" to actually build your game.

$$anonymous$$eep in $$anonymous$$d that the scene at the top of the list is the first scene that is loaded when you start your game / app

sorry i guess i didn't explain myself properly (probably b.c i asked for a friend and never actually tired it myself). anyway i found the solution inanother post: "When you are in the Build Settings window (File > Build Settings) go to Player Settings. Then in the Inspector, change Display Resolution Dialog to Disabled." thank you for your time and willingness to help!
