Error when transferring generic model to human
A character pack I got off the asset store had the models set as generic. When I tried to switch all of the meshes to humanoid the switch worked for two of them but I got the same error for the other four. The error is
Invalid Avatar Configuration. Missing or invalid transform: Found duplicate transform “Base Human001Digit11 1’ for human bone ‘Left Index Proximal’ and ‘LeftHand’
I see the Base Human 001Digit 11 1’ but it doesn’t seem to have the same transform as any other components near it. After a quick google search I learned a proximal is a point of attachment.
I don't really know anything about rigging and I have no idea how to fix this problem.
