What controller/functions for the character movement are best to use with a game like prince of Persia?
I have tried to use physics but if feels not really precise and sometimes when running into something my character does not jump cus of friction or he will randomly have more velocity like a double jump. I'am using Movement.Set
for walking and rig.addforce
for jumping. I want the character to react/jump quickly to input (joystick) and not having to worry about these glitches where there is sometimes more force applied or friction causing not to jump. I have tried using function like Frictioncombine
and ray
or capsulecollision but they didn't really solved it. Anyone knows what best to use in my situation? Thanks in advance.
