Dynamic skybox using webcam
Hi.
This is my first post to Unity forums. I'm from an old school multimedia development background so trying to find my feet in terms of Unity workflow and C#.
I'm developing an artwork and am trying to use a live webcam input to drive reflections on a slowly-spinning 3D object. I can get the webcam in but can't get the object to use as a reflection. It seems I need to make a dynamic skybox.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hey there Paul, were you able to create this?
Im interested in building a skybox kind-of big brother omnipresent using a webcam as well but don't know honestly where to begin.
Cheers Gil.

You could add a webcam instead of video and should work the same. If I get time I'll try
Here's some code to get a live webcam into Unity: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/19482481/display-live-camera-feed-in-unity
Wish I had some spare time to try it out! Hope this helps!

Whoa several years have passed! I can't remember if I did! It was not a mission critical question at the time – was just experimenting. I don't tend to use Unity too much except when needed so I can't advise any further – sorry. I'm thinking try Googling 'Unity webcam skybox'. Good luck!
