Unity Built in Android Ads
Hello
My last couple apps did not sell very well, so I am trying a different strategy, a free game but with ads. I used the built in services window, but when i tested the game, I did not see any ads. I looked it up and you have to make the ad placements in your game, and the only tutorials I have watched so far are where the user click on the ads to receive in game currency, which my game does not have. I am trying to get the ads to be played in say a small rectangle on the bottom or top of the screen, so its there when you play the game, but not interfering. Any Ideas?
Thanks.
AFAI$$anonymous$$, unity only provides Interstitial Ads and Video ads, which will take up the entire screen. For the kind of ads you want, which doesn't interfere with the gameplay, you cantry a number of Ad services like Admob, Chartboost etc.

With any placement, selecting only specific mobile apps could limit your targeting or have a high-price tag. You need to consult with professionals who have experience in this area. I once worked with cpimobi.com in app advertising ios. They help with the strategy and probably know how to make this small banner at the bottom of the screen that you need.
