Windows standalone game window flickers when no keyboard input is detected.
I use version 5.5.1f1 on Windows 7.
Nothing particular happens until you un-focus the game window and focus. If you play with a gamepad or stand idly with no keyboard input, the game window starts flickering and Unity logo at the taskbar disappears and reappears as if a new instance opened and the old one closed. The game runs fines except for when this happens where hiccups occur. I even tried to run a scene without any scripts and this still happened.
For some reason, this bug doesn't appear when task manager is up. This happened to a friend who tried my game too. Anyone knows how to solve this or at least point me in a direction I could look?
Thanks
I doubt this being a Unity problem. I found this which relays the problem onto some plugged in USB stick:

I think it's a windows problem.
I tried that too and still the same problem. I considered it might be a Windows problem, but my game application is the only one I'm having problems with. I tried other Unity standalones and they don't have this problem. So far, I'm simulating key presses every frame as a temporary solution until this gets fixed.
