Unity 2017.1.0b7 WebGL Export Crash il2cpp
I have been searching dozens of questions about people having problem exporting because the il2cpp.exe stops working... None of the suggestion seemed to apply or work in this case...
I have 3 "red" errors" in the unity console after a failed export... all 3 are pasted one after the other in the following super huge error report...
As for what happened or what I did, nothing much really... i was trying to improve quality by changing texture settings (mipmaps, filtering, etc..) was working yesterday... i tried undoing my changes but it still wont export...
Also, the project works perfectly in editor... and the export to windows build exe also works... only webgl somehow stopped working...
Any suggestion would be extremely appreciated :) Thank you for your time!

As a new update, I installed the latest unity beta 2017 b09 on a brand new computer that NEVER had unity installed at all...
I then proceed to create a brand new 2d project, make 1 cube, save the scene, then try to export in webgl...
Got the exact same error messages! So I'll try to open up a bug report on unity beta ins$$anonymous$$d...

It looks like the error message that indicates the cause is:

Can you try a fresh install of Unity? That might correct the issue.

However, sadly, it did not work...
At first, I installed b09 over b07 that i had... tried an export, same error...
then I fully uninstalled unity... installed again... even added IL2CPP/.Net build option... No changes... same errors...
I then replaced all of my ProjectSettings folder from a backup I had from last week... since there is mention of "config" being wrong somewhere in that mega error, i gave that a try... same errors...
I am currently replacing the project itself (fully) with my backup from 1 week ago to see if it will work with that old version... I really dont want to lose 80+ hours of work... but it would still be better than losing everything... if that work out, i'll restore my "broken" project, and start replacing 1 file or folder at a time to find where the problem is...
EDIT : I am trying to fix this non stop.... I replaced my whole project with a backup from last month... which I $$anonymous$$NOW was working because I have a working webgl build made from that version on my server... still, even that old version produces the same 3 errors and refuses to compile...
I re-uninstalled unity... uninstalled xamarin which was in the same folder... uninstalled any other programs i might have installed in the last few weeks... deleted the whole unity folder... reinstalled from scratch... still the same error... Do i need to reformat my whole computer? I am starting to run out of ideas...

EDIT 3 : I opened the super basic Unity UFO tutorial that i did a bit more than 1 year ago... no compile error, everything was fine... game still plays fine on 2017 b09... export to exe works... export to WebGL did the same bug... there really is something wrong with my computer... even after uninstalling unity fully the bug still persist...
Finally, for anyone asking, N:\ is one of my local drive... inside the computer... a SATA 7200rpm 500gb seagate drive... nothing fancy :)

I believe this will be corrected in the 2017.1.0p3 patch release, which will be available here soon: https://unity3d.com/unity/qa/patch-releases

Yeah i know i screwed up... i needed the video player back in 5.6 beta... tried it... and it worked... so i decided to keep working with the beta branch... my bad... I'd love nothing more than to go back to a stable branch! Sadly, i seem to only be getting farther and farther from anything stable...
I am reading the thread you provided, thank you for that and will re-report the bug in appropriate place if the one i used was not...
