Blue game window... HELP

I'm having a huge problem with a fresh Unity install. When I open the program for the first time with the bootcamp demo, i get this:

The game screen is like this:

And if I hit play, like this:

alt text

My specs are:

OS - Windows 7 Pro x64 CPU - Intel i7 Q740 RAM - 4GB Video Card - nVidia Quadro FX 880M

This is on a 100% fresh install of the program. I've tried the other examples from the website and get the exact same result. If I install on my other, lesser-built laptop, it works fine. All of my drivers are up to date and I ran defrag and malware scans.

You need to select the correct scene to run. At the moment its set to the default. If you look in the project list, bottom middle of the screen you should see a scene called Bootcamp :)

Thank you, it has always automatically opened it for me on all installs I've previously had so I wasn't aware of this. Sure enough, double click and it loads up just fine.

Thats because there is nothing to see. Look at the hierarchy, all it contains is a single camera, so there is nothing in the scene.

You need to open/load a scene from the Project assets, 'Bootcamp' by the looks of it.

Usually Unity will automatically open the last scene used, or rather the one thats active when saved, but I have encountered occasions when this doesn't always happen for some reason.

Usually with a fresh install of Unity, when there's no 'last scene used'. ;)
