Normal issues when importing model with shape keys from Blender
I'm facing some weird issues with normals when importing a model from Blender to Unity. The model has shape keys set up in Blender that are intended to be used to display facial emotions inside of Unity (blendshapes).
The blendshapes are being imported and are working fine. However the normals are being messed up for whatever reason. Importing the model without shape keys results in perfect normals. Does anyone have a clue about this and can hint me at a possible solution?
Update: Found a possible work-around by using the Blender .fbx exporter. However I'd prefer to use the blend file and I'm still looking for the source of this problem.
