Using maps with clickable markers in Unity 3d
Hi all - Am trying to use maps with clickable markers in an Unity project. I need some open source solution(no paid assets) for the same. I tried to use Google static maps, which works perfectly fine, but does not provide an option for clickable marker (of course it is static map). Since the marker positions are dynamic and depend on lat/long, I could not find a solution to dynamically overlay a button on the position of the marker, so that tap of the button can show name/address/phone number of that place.
I read about OpenStreetMaps, but could not find any good tutorial to get started. Can someone advice me on how to get this accomplished? Pls let me know if you need more information.
i am having the same problem, to clarify the solution could be just instantiate buttons over the image, but the zoom levels make it hard to know were exactly to instantiate them
