LineRenderer memory leak
I was hunting a memory leak and I've narrowed it down to LineRenderer. Repeatedly creating and destroying one causes my Total Objects in Scene to steadily climb, but with all the other components I checked it would stay steady.
Am I doing something wrong or is this a Unity bug?

private LineRenderer test;
void Update () {
if (test == null) {
test = gameObject.AddComponent<LineRenderer>();
} else {
Destroy(test);
test = null;
}
