Depth of Field in Unity Free
This link is to a paid tutorial on how to do DOF in Unity Free. Anybody have any idea how this is done?

I've no idea how you'd do that in free. Every implementation I've seen/written uses a render texture to work out the depth of the pixels - my only thought would be that if everything was using a shader that knew about depth then perhaps it would be possible - but I can't figure out how you'd be getting the downsampled version for the blur.
I don't see where this says you can do this in Unity Free. The introductory 'lesson' is free.
