Any Admob experts here ?
Hey guys ,so I thought I had done the hard part by creating a fun little racing game (Google - Non Linear Games Crazy Racer) have so far had 10,000 downloads :) so feeling pretty good ,ok its no Angry Birds but not bad for a first try :) my admob banners show up fine in game BUT I honestly have no idea if I have the whole admob thing set up correctly to get the best possible income (if any lol ) .I sthere anyone who can advise me on how to set Up Admob itself in simple terms lol .My brain is fried from making and publishing the game .Anyone ,would be eternally grateful :)
Hi there, I have build a lot of games for android with ADMOB so i have best experience for it. I prefer Neatplug AdMob Ads Plugin, you can get it from here: http://www.neatplug.com/unity3d-plugins-android
This plugin is very simple and has a lot of options
Then you can go to Neatplug Chartboost Ads Plugin. this plugin is used to implement full screen chart like advertisement which some high titles game like - angry birds shows in between game.

Thanks man :) I gotta be honest though I have the plugin part working perfectly ,its the actual setup on the Admob site thats frying my brain ,do I do House campains ,what dollar value to I set my Ecpms etc .The help is a little vague on there lol ,good news is I now have 13 thousand DLs :) but I haven't earnt anything lol ,so Im guessing im doing it all wrong at their end ? Anyone know what I should be setting up ??

This one it works great and its Free :) . I think I am getrting the hang of the Admob side of things I guess you just add as many ad hosters as you can ,just unsure what to fill in most of the fields with lol ,there must be a clue somewhere ,I'll keep digging :)
Ok Guys to be clear ,I am on the NEW Ad$$anonymous$$ob setup site and I am on the select networks page .IE there is AdFalcon ,Adfonic ,AppFlood ....$$anonymous$$obFox etc but they all seem to have differing Data entry boxes Like Domob has Placement ID and Publisher ID
Hunt $$anonymous$$obile Ads has Site ID and Zone ID
i-mobile has $$anonymous$$edia ID and Publisher ID and Spot ID
SO I am a bit lost as to where to find all these differing values ,I cannot seem to find any help on the Ad$$anonymous$$ob site showing where or what I should be entering , Do I add all 23 or just admob ? I am a bit lost here lol and its driving me nuts :P please help out a fellow Unity Noob :) eternally grateful would not be the words :)
Is it as Obvious as all these ad servers? have their own websites you register with ? if so I shall kick my own ass lol :) and claim the stupidity prize of the year :)
Another quicky lol ,I now have 30,000 Downloads of my game with around 8,000 still playing? yet I have earnt absolutely nothing lol ,I am hoping my Admob plugin is failing or is 30,000 still too low to get any income ? And why do Admob make it sooooooo hard to set it all up ? Its gonna earn them money too lol ?
