Using learning resources for previous versions?
Hello,
I am pretty new to Unity and one thing I wonder is how useful older resources are, e.g. books, tutorials. I have installed Unity 5.5 but I also have been gifted a book that apparently was written for 4.x. Can I learn from it fearlessly? I recon the interface changes will not be too drastic?
I also see that there will be a new update cadence from 2017.
Will learning from the 4.x and 5.x resources be alright, provided that I keep up with updates later in 2017/2018?
Thanks!
