My projects never save

Hello,

I am new to Unity and I work on Mac. I have been working on a scene for 4 hours, hit CTRL S 1000 times, saved the scene, the project etc...

While the folder is created where I want it with assets folder inside etc, there is no actual Unity project in it and so I can never open my previous projects.

Moreover, they do not appear in my Unity launcher when I start the app.

Any solution ?

$$anonymous$$aybe a permissions issue? I am not a $$anonymous$$ac guy so not sure how things are done on $$anonymous$$ac.

If you were to start a new project from scratch, and without anything it, you try to save and it doesn't work?
