MonoDevelop crashing on startup
A few days ago I was coding just fine on MonoDevelop. Then all of a sudden yesterday my scripts wouldn't open in MonoDevelop. I just thought that I had to update because I was on an old version (5.0.? or something like that) I updated to the latest version and the issue is still there. What would happen is that I double click on the script like usual, and the MonoDevelop loading screen would flash up about half full then disappear, and it would never open. Next I went into my files to open it outside of Unity, and I got something hopefully someone can work with. You can find the video here. Do I need to install those add-ins or someting? I can give you other information if you need it, just ask for it. I would really like to fix this soon though because I really want to continue in the tutorial I was following. Thanks for the help!
I would strongly recommend to start using VisualStudio ins$$anonymous$$d of $$anonymous$$onoDevelop but if you wanna keep using $$anonymous$$onoDevelop you need to install what it asks you to. $$anonymous$$aybe try to uninstall and install it again.
Ok thanks. The only reason I am holding out on VisualStudio is because my computer is really bad and I am getting a new one in a couple of months. I will probably try to reinstall it soon like you said. Thanks for the comment!
