Skinned cloth tut

I have recently discovered that unity3d does not support every animation from 3ds max. I had some cloth simulation on my character animations. Is there anyway to get unity3d to understand? If not could I get pointed to a tut for skinned cloth or perferably personal help. thanks, P.s. Is there any way I could turn 3ds max cloth simualtion into a normal animation?(yes a lot of questions.)

I dont know about 3Ds MAX but Wot I did in maya was to either bake the animation on the bones then export .. Unity doesnt take Vertix Baked animation . or the other solution was to fake the cloth with a Rig that is using Dynamic Hair as its IK so it would be effected by Physics to work as cloth in a fake way. About the skinned cloth its really easy and annoying at the same time because you cant paint the weights properly, reason is Lack of Painting brush in Unity. But the deal is selection, u select the vertices and all that by selection. giving them weight and physical properties. to understand wot are the options inside take a look at this http://unity3d.com/support/documentation/Components/class-SkinnedCloth.html I also tried it on an iOS device it works alright but it drops your frame rate as well so you gotta costumize your cloth :D Hope this would help.
