How Do I Install Unity 5 on a MacBook Air?
I've downloaded Unity 5 twice (using the Download Assistant) and every time the Unity Packages folder deletes itself shortly afterwards. The only folder I have is the Unity Standard Assets in Application. The Download Assistant even says "Unity was installed successfully" but I can't seem to find it anywhere. What am I doing wrong?
You don't have enough space on HD. Try to download .pkg file. It's about 2GB. $$anonymous$$y problem was the same. Assistant says "You need 6gb free space" I had 7gb. But you can see that installer needs 2gb and when it's downloaded I had only 5GB free space so it can't to install himself. After cleaning my HD for 10GB of free space installation was completed and I can see Unity in Launchpad.
Hope's it help.
