Build and Run moves all of my Player objects, works fine in Editor
When doing "Build and Run" or "Build" from build settings all of my player objects are moved to the center of the level. I have a Start screen, an instruction screen, credit screen, and a gameplay screen. The instructions, credit and start screens work fine in which they just display text and have a button to go to the appropriate level. On my start screen I have a play button that goes to the gameplay screen and when that button is pressed all of my 4 players (all have player controller scripts with inputs used for offline multiplayer) are moved to center. In the editor they are in their respective spawn points on different ends of the map.
No errors show up while building.
You might have a Game$$anonymous$$anager-type script that's activated on your Start/Play, but while you were developing the game and to avoid constantly having to do instructions/credit/start(anew) maybe you dropped in some code somewhere that did something special to bypass that. When comparing your results in the editor, are you doing the complete cycle?
Well, I'm a little confused on your comment, but I just tried building out an older version I had that didn't have the different levels, just the Gameplay level. The same error occurs.
Since this was just updated http://answers.unity3d.com/questions/59178/strange-phenomenon-after-build-and-run.html
could try that
Sorry, my issue occurs on Web and PC Standalone. I haven't tried building for iOS and I don't think I have the same problem as him.
I'm still having this issue! If anyone could help that would be great!
