What type of object are you creating? How are you creating your object? Have you applied a material?

Hi man, if you don't provide a bit of a description as to what's going on this question is going to remain un-answered.

all i know is that i once i opened unity and tried to make a square but then all i saw was a white square and it was not 3d. I tried putting it on wire frame then textured, but it didn't work.

Do you mean a cube or a plane? Did you try rotating around the object? If you want to get anywhere with Unity start with a tutorial or 2.

I had the exact same Problem! You might be to far away from the object' so select it and hit the F key to focus on it! If it still doesn't work, then re-install it 3 - 5 times. It seams like a lot but its worth it. If your not very Patiant, then do it when your board and have nothing better to do. I promis these should work!!!

So try changing the windows view to textured because it might be on wire frame view!
