Input Injection
I am working on a personal project and while this may sound nefarious I swear it is all in the context of games. I am making a project that I want to run in the background as a full on input converter between Oculus Rift and my computer. Aka using headset for mouse movement, using controllers for right/left clicks, etc. I am running into two big problems. The first is that I realize I need to work closer to windows api than I would ever like to get. I need to know how to convert my oculus input into mouse clicks, key presses, etc. It looks like I need to use the InjectKeyboardInput() and InjectMouseInput() functions but I have no idea how to set these calls up in unity, any help?
The other is admittedly not in the same thread, kind of. I need the application to listen for my controllers inputs while other windows are active instead of the unity window. I get that might put it in the realm of possibility for malicious intent, but I am wondering if I can do it still.
