Two textures on a sphere depending on latitude
Hello!
I'm trying to create dynamic model of a planet with two textures (ice & water). I want those two textures to be latitude dependant. For example: ice covering only 10 degrees from both poles. I want the value of said latitude to change over time.
I have no idea how to start i.e. how to access UV map from script and blend two materials. So far I have standard Unity sphere and two materials.

There is no way to blend between materials in Unity; you would need to use a custom shader.
