What does the clamp parameter mean in Animator.SetLookAtWeight
I'm having difficulty understanding the clampweight parameter in the SetLookAtWeight method.
The documentation (url) says that a value of 0 means the character is unrestrained and a value of 1 restrains a character in such a way that looking becomes completely impossible.
The behaviour I observe is somewhat different: I put a character in the origin and let him look at a point a few meters behind and above the character.
I use the following parameters.
bodyweight:0.1
Headweight:0.7
Eyesweight:0.9
Now with clampweight 0 the character completely arcs its back and neck so that he is able to look at the point. But with clamp weight 1 the character still moves its back somewhat, its neck a lot more and is still looking at the point which is actually quite different form not being able to look to a point.
