Web player does not appear in Build Settings
Web player option does not appear in File -> Build Settings.
I have installed Unity Web Player, and my version of Unity is Unity 5.4.1f1 (64-bit)

Web player was deprecated years ago. Use the WebGL option if you want to play in a browser.

No, not the same, but it is the way which you now export your game if you want it to be playable in a browser.
On the same note but specifically regarding the Space Shooter Tutorial, of which instructs us to set the build platform as the web player, would the above ("use WebGL option") still hold true?
