Unknown loading when creating terrain
Hello. I am a returning user of Unity (Last time I used it was then it was around patch 4.x.x or something). I created a project to start working on it again and when I created a New Terrain I noticed my computer started to slow down. Then I realized sometimes when editing the new terrain Unity starts to load "something" and it makes my CPU to go up to full 100% of usage. It stays like that for a few seconds and then it goes back to the normal usage. It's like if it were loading the scene or something since I can see in the taskbar a green progress bar. Does anyone know what's causing this and if theres any way to disable the random loading so I can have a more fluent workflow? It is a bit frustrating having to wait every couple of minutes for Unity to finish loading whatever its loading so I can get back to work. Or is it that my Core i5 isn't enough anymore for working with Unity? I'd kindly appreciate any help.
