[URP] Rendering an object with a different material behind a transparent plane
Hello! Firstup: I'm using URP. I want to render the silhouette of a cube when it is behind a plane.
So far that looks like this:
I am not any good with shaders yet, therefore I achieved this by messing with the UDP Forward Renderer and basically gave the cube a different material when the depth is "Greater" than another object in front.
Now: What I would actually like to achieve is exactly this but with transparent planes. Per this method I have found no way to draw the orange material if the plane is marked as "Transparent".
If you'd know a way to change the URP-Configuration or write a shader that achieves this, I'd greatly appreciate it!
