How to follow the player without moving camera?
I have 2d game:
camera
background
holder->player
I need to scale only holder with pivot point from player's center. Player moves down. So the center of holder is always on player's position. Camera doesn't move.
holder.localposition.y = -player.localposition.y;
I've tried different updates (FixedUpdate, LateUpdate) but in all cases it is jittering, the player or other objects on holder. Lerp doesn't help.
Can you be more specific and why don't you want your camera to move?
I don't now how to scale the holder then
