Using ASCII as tiles (roguelike)
I want to create a grid-based 2D roguelike, using a ASCII-tilemap but want to have the opportunity to switch later to graphical tiles. I know how to render such tiles with sprite textures but do not know how to render fonts instead. What would be a way to do that programatically ?
