[Ubuntu 16.04 LTS] Ubuntu crashes on creating project (latest Unity version)
Hello,
so today I installed the latest version of Unity3D for Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (from unity3d website, unity-editor-5.5.0b5+20160927_amd64.deb). The problem is simple defined as crashing when I create a project on Unity3d (doesn't matter if 2D or 3D, still crashing).
I took a look at Editor.log file and encountered this: Editor.txt
(had to rename to .txt since not allowing .log files here).
I tried reinstalling Unity3d, reinstalled/checked all the dependecies when installing through 'sudo dpkg -i unity3d....deb', tried, of course, through Software center, but still no luck. It remains crashing whenever I try to create/open project.
I am sure that you can somehow help with this one, tried to resolve out from any messages there and I only suspect that either something's wrong with OpenGL, my pc is too slow for this (Lenovo B560 i3 with that Intel HD Graphics (doesn't matter which one, they slow af) and 4GB of DDR3 RAM).
Kind regards, Davis.
Hi did you ever solve this I am having similar issue. Same OS, the project folders will be visible after creating(and crashing from unity GUI) but nothing there.
