Terraforming custom meshes
Hello,
I've been working on a procedural terrain generator and it works fine, but i'd like to be able to alter the terrain (like growing grass on dirt, for example). Is there any way this can be done? The only thing I can think about is making a custom shader and using a splat map to cover the different types of textures used, but this doesn't feel like the right solution. Can anyone help me? Thank you in advance!
