Particle backgrounds not transparent
How to make background of particle spritesheet transparent? I went into gimp and made background transparent but particle system look glitch up. Same with power point. But other people particle spritesheet work for them even though background is black. But mine have background black and it no transparent. I try with white black and neon pink but it no work for me plz help,

Make sure that the material you're using for your particles is set to any sort of transparent shader. Second make sure to check 'alpha is transparent' in the texture import settings.

It should work if the image you use is a .png.
OBJECTION! it dosnt work look here is my sprite sheet.
I don't know if it's possible in particles, but try to add a shader into it. Unity have a transparent shader. I have the same issue, but it's not in particle, i am trying to put a transparent image on a cube but the background turns black =/

If your sprites are in the .png format,
then in your particle system "Renderer" Section, set the material to "Sprites-Default".
