open PDF on WebGL

I want to place some PDF in a folder inside my project for example: Assets/manuals/manual1.pdf inside the project there will be one cube or plane with a texture with an image of the frontpage of the correspondent manual. How can I make that when the object is clicked the file is opened in a new tab or window of the browser? Regards, German
