All GameObjects gone in all projects

Howdy guys, Unity newcomer here. Have been going through a couple of tutorials – today, on opening Unity for my morning training, everything has vanished out of the hierarchy, except Main Camera and Directional Light. This includes not only the project I'm working on at the moment, but also the older one which I haven't touched since days.

All stuff in the Assets folder still exists, scripts are still there etc.

I'm running Unity 5.2.2f1 Personal on Mac OS 10.10.5.

Now these are only Tutorials, so not too much is lost, but it's pretty annoying all the same...

Any ideas / help / hints? Highly appreciated. Thanks!

SOLVED

Problem was that I had to load the $$anonymous$$ain scene. This had never happened before, so I hadn't even thought of it until now. Thanks.
