List item
Hi there
I am very new to unity, i work as a graphic designer, i've been given a project of creating an online 3D showroom for truck trailers, in my office we have a developer to do the web stuff,i not familiar with web work (html) i am familiar with Blender 3D, i have an OBJ of the truck model, i need to know where to start and how to do something like that?
the client wants the truck to be a high-res 3D model on the website with options to customise sections and show cross sections of certain parts
If anyone has tips or a step by step on how to do this please help me

There are a couple cross section tools available on the asset store. For customizing trucks - this task largely falls on your web developer who will need to set up something similar to a character customization screen - but instead of character it will be a truck. The model/textures and any other supporting content will need to be provided to the web developer in the manner he chooses.
If the model is separate mesh elements in blender - you can set up a hierarchy in blender and import the model into Unity. Web developer will set up the scene so 'options' can be shown on the truck and some type of UI to allow the viewer to show cross sections.
This really is something you and your web developer should be sitting down and discussing on how you will do it. For reference - look at any racing game that has a vehicle customization section.
