Scene lost after build Cancel
Hello,
I'm new to Unity. Going through the tutorials atm.
While making the TopDownShooter tutorial, I've hit a problem.
Wanted to duplicate an object, but hit Ctrl+b instead of Ctrl+d.
Without thinking, I've cancelled the build process, before the Build settings window came up.
This cleared my scene. The project assets and scripts are there, but the Hierarchy has been Cleared.
This can be replicated with a 100% rate. using the provided in the tutorial, _completed scene.
After Unity restart, is the Scene gone for good?
Is this a know bug? How to prevent it from happening?
System: Windows 7 64-bit;
Just to clarify the problem: If the build process lasts long enough for the Build settings window pup-up, the scene is not lost. But if I hit Ctrl+b and immediately hit Cancel, the Scene hierarchy is gone.
EDIT: Well seems I'm just stupid. The scene was hidden in the Project tab, under _Scenes/main/main.
Still, it took a lot of time to find it and this behavior seems weird.
