How do I run a master server on my website?
I own a domain and a hosting for it.
The hoster provides access to the hosting via cpanel.
I have no experience of managing websites. From what I understood, cpanel runs on Linux and I wouldn't be able to run .exe files in it.
Does it mean that I should install Linux on my PC create executables within it and put them to a site's directory?
Is there a way to find a right version of Linux? (MasterServer.exe built on PC with Windows 7 didn't work on laptop with Windows 8. Besides, I'm not sure that the problem wasn't in hardware differences. Do they affect the result of build)

You don't run the server on your 'website'.
You write the server in Unity and then you can make a Linux build in any OSX or Windows editor.
That build is an executable standalone program for Linux and you need to run that directly on a Linux server.
By the looks of it cpanel only allows you administrating select things related to your web hosting.
We support Ubuntu and Suse Linux.
Any Windows build made on Windows 7 should also work on Windows 8.
