Xbox 360 configure right stick not working

Yo, I'm trying to use the right stick on my xbox controller the same way I do it with the left, but it just doesn't work and can't seem to find anything usefull on that issue. I want it to work like the right stick, say I press the right stick to the left it outputs -1, while not pressing it it's at 0 and when pressing it to the right it outputs 1. But at the moment it just spams -1 while not touching it, when pressing to the right it outputs 1 and when pressing it to the left where it actually should output -1 it still spams like before. The log is only equal to 0 when I exit playmode. What should I do?
