Xbox controller issue on using OVRGamepadController on mac
I have been trying to solve this problem for weeks: I can't use the left joystick to walk with my Oculus Rift project for mac. I can bind other buttons, except for the left joystick. I have been exhaustively searching every forum, unity answers, and support, and almost every one of them just links me to the wiki page of the xbox controller for unity. Some of them link me to the youtube video where a guy talks about the xbox controller binding on unity's input settings (I've seen this video more than 10 times now). I've also been redirected several times to the unity asset store where there are some complicated plugins for controllers.
I just want to know how do I walk with my player using the default joystick (left) using the OVRPlayerController on a mac.
I read it somewhere that this should work by default, as the OVRGamepadController is programmed to work with every system, but for me it just doesn't.
