Keep water4 from reflecting certain objects
Hi, as you can see in the screenshot below, I have a water4Simple GameObject in my Scene. Everything works great, only that I would like the water to not reflect the Hands on my FPSController, as is the case in the screenshot.
I have unchecked the corresponding layer on the Reflection Mask of the Planar Reflection Script aswell as the water ReflectionCamera, but that doesn't seem to solve the problem. Is this a problem with the watershader itself?
That's not reflection, that's refraction. If the shader uses a grabpass to calculate refractions then no you can't. If it doesn't, you would have to modify the script to include a layermask for the refraction camera.
