Ground collision check not working with one way platform effector 2d
Hi,
I can't seem to get ground collision to work with one way collisions on my tilemap. I have a Tilemap Collider 2d assigned along with a Platform Effector 2d. When my player jumps up on the tile from below and then lands the ground check simply doesn't work.
Im using the following code for the ground check running in a fixed update:
var pos = bottomPosition;
pos.x += transform.position.x;
pos.y += transform.position.y;
standing = Physics2D.OverlapCircle (pos, groundCollisionRadius, collisionLayer);
This code works fine with other collider types but it's not working with platform effector 2d.
Anyone have any ideas how to get ground check to work with platform effector 2d using one way collisions?
