Question by rdavid269 · Feb 18, 2016 at 06:43 PM · scripting beginnerscript errormain menu

How can i make a main menu that can go to different options for each button,and can change color with a sound effect when i move my mouse over each button?

hi guys its David again today I wanted to learn how to make a main menu,so I continued to practice java scripting by seeing tutorials on how to script,then I wanted to try it out and made this:

 #pragma strict

 var Button : GameObject = int: 1);
 var HoverOverButtonColor = Color.blue);
 var HoverOverButtonSound = AudioSource = int 1);
 var MouseCursor = GameObject.in.Project);

 function FindButtonInScene (UI) {
   if(Input.GetButton(GameObject.in.Scene));
            <Find.UI.In.Scene>
            GameObject = UI;

 }

 function HoverOverButtonColor (Color) {
     if(Debug.MouseCursor.GameObject.Position: x,y);
     if(get.Color.for.UI.HoverOverButtonColor = Blue);
           get Color.for.UI.InScene;

 }

I got a headache and some errors because I tried to continue to figure out how to make a function each variable in my script.And I wanted you guys to tell me how good I'm doing so far in this script,what are my mistakes I made,what I'm missing,what I need do next,and what I need to fix,you know,instead of having to tell me to go learn when I am already doing that and rejecting my questions giving me negative feedback about what I did.

and here are errors:

Assets/Button.js(3,30): BCE0043: Unexpected token: :. Assets/Button.js(3,32): BCE0044: expecting EOF, found '1'.
