How do I smooth motion over a cube connection?
Similar to this question, I have a sphere rolling on a floor made out of two normal Cubes, but it keeps on detecting a small bump in between the cubes. I've tried to make an invisible object that will limit the ball's y position as it goes over the bump, but haven't been able to get it to work yet.
Any ideas as to how to solve this problem? I really wish I could just override the physics and put a limit on the y-value of the ball, but even if I have the invisible object set the ball's y coordinate to .5 (where I want it to be) and its velocity y-value to 0, it still seems to jump.
Thank you!
Why do you need the floor to be made out of two cubes? Are they going to move independently or is it purely for a visual affect?
If it is just visual you may be better off using a single plane as the collider for the sphere with no renderer and removing the collider from the cubes.
