How do I back out of a clapped out install?
Running on windows 10 64 bit. My unity install clapped out while installing ms studio components and hung my computer. I had no reaction to mouse clicks on either install app or on desktop.
I started the install about 8pm the night before and didn't get to my computer until after lunch the following day so 12+ hours installing.
I have opted to uninstall unity as I don't trust the install and I am now running the uninstall but historically clapped out installations leave crap on you machine.
Has anyone had experiences with backing out of clapped out installs? Am I expecting to have to go into registry and hand clean out crap? Am I having to poke around in hidden folders under users to lift rubbish out?
Cheers, B
