Question by phildragon · Dec 05, 2015 at 04:31 PM · animationcamera

Animation has bug soon i add a third person camera

I am currently using Unity 5.1.2

Here are my steps: - Create a new empty Unity Project - Import the Characters packages (click on menu Assets and select Import Packages/Characters - Import everything from this package. - The "Standard Assets" folder must be added in Assets root folder - Expand the "Standard Assets", Standard Assets/Characters/ThirdPersonCharacter/Prefabs/ - Add prefab "ThirdPersonController" to the scene (hierarchy) and name it "Player" - Notice that the Main Camera gameObject has been tagged "MainCamera" - Add the Make the Main Camera point the Player's back - Add the Main Camera in Player (in other words make Main Camera a hierarchy child of Player - Play the scene

Actual Results: When you make Player moving forward, it's OK. But when you make Player move back (Down Arrow or S keys) or moving side ways. the animation will bug: like it will shake on rotation

Alternative scenario: When you remove the Main Camera from Player on Hierarchy (still in hierarchy but independent of Player), ofcurse the camera will not fallows the player, but the player's animation will be fine. You will not be able to reproduce the bug if you make Player move back (Down Arrow or S keys) or moving side ways.

I may forget something or do something wrong in my steps. If is the case please let me to figurate out.

Thank you for your attention.

Greetings.
