Is there any unified 2D documentation for getting started with Unity 2D?
I'm finding Unity documentation to be presumptive of 3D in most cases -- or it's ambiguous -- and am having great difficulty finding the learning and documentation path for pure 2D dev. I can find isolated articles, but it would seem to me that the needs of 2D devs might have a unified document path.
Can anyone kindly help set me on the right path for learning how to use Unity for true 2D dev?

There is a Learn link at the top of the page which points to a really good set of tutorials on many topics, including 2D development.
Just to follow-up,
The video series of 2D dev tutorials are quite excellent.
I'm beginning to understand that the 2D dev tools share many/most of the 3D tools in common, with obvious feature differences.
