joystick script for 3rd person controller

Hi everyone,

i am new to unity , I am making a 3rd game for mobile iOS and android i want to attack a joystick in my script so that my character walks, run , attack and dies in the game , i m right now using penelope scripts but i am having many issues with integrating it.

Can anyone help me with tutorial which works for joystick then it will be very helpful.
