Adding Rigidbody2d to gameobject removes it from game
I am creating a 2d game in which I want my character to be able to pick up and throw a torch. I have a boxcollider that works just fine for being able to pick it up, however when I add a Rigidbody 2D component so that I can throw the torch, my torch disappears from my game but I can still see it in my scene. My question is what am I missing from the rigidbody2d so that I can see and access my torch in my game? I uploaded a screenshot of my scene and some of my code for the picking up/throwing as well.
