Best way to save reference to assets in Resources Folder
Hi, I'm making Rougelike game 2d. I have a plan to save all my tiles graphic in resources folder to dynamical load all of them on game start. Do you have some special way to save reference to assets from Resources folder, or you just use object.name to save string and later find out form string with asset you need?
PS I serialize my special saving reference object to XML. I'm trying to find best way to save it because sometimes it can take a long time to save. It's better to optimize it now ;)
