uNet Connection to IPv6 [Networking]
I have a question regarding p2p connections with the new unet networking.
I have a host running a game and another client wants to connect. If the host has an IPv4 address everything works perfectly. The client can connect to the host and they can play together.
Now we have the situation that the host has an IPv6 network address and a "simulated" IPv4 (dual-stack lite!). Now a connection to this simulated IPv4 address is not possible. If I enter the IPv6 address as IPAddress in unet, I also can't get a connection to the host.
Is there something I have to do in order to tell Unity that the network I want connect to is an IPv6 network or am I missing something completely different.
Any help with this would be appreciated.
From what I just heard about DSLite is, that it does not support port forwarding. Therefore the connection might work FRO$$anonymous$$ IPv6, but not TO that network.
