How to reproduce iOS 7 parallax backgrounds
I want to add tilt parallax effect (same as on iOS 7) in menu of the game and can't figure out how to do that. Could anyone put me on write direction, please?
Just google "reproduce iOS7 parallax" and you'll find lots of good info. One in particular seemed interesting, namely this one. It shows some code and also the effect.
yep, I saw that link; the problem is that they use gyro I think (they have angles from Gyroscope); but I need to make it multiplatform so should use Accelerometer because gyro doesn't exist on all android devices... so, any other ideas/thoughts?
I've created some scripts to achieve the iOS parallax effect using the accelerometer for iOS and Android. One script controls the parallax background and one rotates the foreground objects to achieve a realistic looking 3D effect. You can find them here. Hope you enjoy!
